The Equine Experts

Advanced Equine Diagnostics has been serving the equine needs of the Big Island since 2022. Our mixed-animal practice is made up of talented veterinary professionals who are passionate about horses and who take care of each horse as if it were their own.

Dr. Laszlo "Lutz" Hunyadi is a board certified expert in large animal medicine. He is also a Professor at Texas Tech's School of Veterinary Medicine and an equine acupuncturist.

Dr. Emily Sundman is a board certified expert in equine practice. She is also an Assistant Professor at Texas Tech's School of Veterinary Medicine and pharmaceutical consultant.

Both  husband and wife are both Cornell veterinary graduates with extensive experience in equine clinical medicine and research.
